Accessibility Statement
How we work to keep this site usable for everyone, where we know we fall short, and how to reach a person if something here doesn't work for you.
Our commitment
Mountain West Vinyl Products wants every homeowner planning a fence to be able to use this website — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or captions. Accessibility is part of how we judge whether this site is finished, not a box we check at the end.
The standard we work toward
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are the widely accepted benchmark for making web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We treat them as our working target as we build and update pages.
What we're doing
- Writing semantic markup so headings, lists, and landmarks make sense to assistive technology.
- Providing meaningful alternative text for photographs and product imagery.
- Maintaining color contrast that meets AA thresholds for body text and interface elements.
- Making every interactive element — navigation, FAQ toggles, forms, and buttons — reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus state.
- Labeling every form field, and describing errors in text rather than by color alone.
- Testing new pages with keyboard-only navigation and a screen reader before they go live.
- Reviewing accessibility as part of any significant site update.
Known limitations
We want to be honest about where we fall short today:
- Some older PDF documents, including certain warranty and spec sheets, may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need one in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide the content another way — usually within two business days.
- A few embedded third-party elements, such as maps or externally hosted content, are not fully under our control. We are working with those providers and will offer text alternatives where we can.
If something doesn't work for you, tell us
If you run into a barrier on this site — a page you can't navigate, an image without a description, a form you can't complete — please tell us. We'd rather hear it than not.
- Email: sales@mountainwestvinyl.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line
- Contact form: mountainwestvinyl.com/contact — we monitor it Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm MT
- Mail: Mountain West Vinyl Products, PO Box 276, Logan, UT 84323
Please tell us the page address and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within two business days and to describe how and when we will address the issue.
Getting help another way
If you can't get what you need from the website, we will get it to you directly. Email or write to us and a real person will read specifications, describe color options, walk through the buying guide, or take your Find a Pro details over the phone and connect you with your local installer. No one should have to fight a website to get a fence quote.
Assessment approach
This statement reflects our own review of the site against WCAG 2.1 AA using a combination of automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
